My bookmarks & tags imported from Delicious but the Description text truncated. Can it be fixed?
My bookmarks and tags seem to have imported correctly from Delicious. However the text in the Description area truncated after one and three-quarters lines for each bookmark. The text is present in the file that was used for the import, and it doesn't seem to be a space issue. Can it be fixed? Do I need to delete all of them and then re-import? Do I need to manually edit each bookmark to replace the missing text?

Yeah, bizarre behavior -- new links can have very long descriptions (have not run into a limit yet) but the 2300+ bookmarks I imported from delicious were cut off around 255 characters. Very strange and kind of annoying.

i want to import more than 5000 bookmarks from delicious: NOT ONLY the Despription, but also the titles AND TAGS! were truncated in words using with ä, ö, ü - even its possible in diigo, to use this Nouns. BAD BUG!

Same for me - I want to move to Diigo and likely go premium, but until this is fixed, it's pointless. I have 4,356 bookmarks at the moment and I'm hardly going to go through and fix them all manually!

I imported bookmarks from delicious. None of the tags are visible in the tag list (except one 'lisp'). The other tags show up on the bookmark but not in the tag list on the left.

I have about 1,700 bookmarks and I would estimate that about 2/3 of them have longer-than-256-characters notes. I'm not importing until this gets fixed.

I'd like to migrate from Delicious and go premium with several accounts, but this is a show-stopper for me. Seems like this bug should be very easy to fix.

I'm holding off on diigo until this is fixed. I have too many bookmarks to go through and fix this manually.

You (Diigo) should at least mention this 255 character limit on the import page.

Agree, Delicious allowed for descriptions up to 1000 characters, and Diigo seems capable of that, though the import looks like it may have truncated to 255 chars - perhaps a script doesn't match the db?
Could it be run again to get our longer descriptions back?
Should we reimport the file again once the load dies down a bit?
