reduce comment spam in ideas forum
Thanks for providing invaluable feedback. This forum has been abused with spam.We are quite headache about it. Uservoice’s anti-spam policies are
not very efficient. We decide to take more action.
As Geoffrey Milos mentioned, most SPAMMERs in this Ideas forum are not particularly creative. common features include:
- recent joiners
- no bookmarks
- no highlights
- no activity outside of ideas.
- single vote per “idea”
Given those features,it should be only trusty users who have published normal
bookmarks and annotations are entitled to publish new idea in this forum.

With the recent changes of the past few months, you have add an extra step in flagging spam. Users now have to click on each idea in order to flag. Even if the title is spam URL. Why did you put this obstacle in place?

Uservoice needs to use http://www.iblocklist.com/lists.php to stop the deluge of spam. Seriously, the amount of spam is insane.
