I strongly support this suggestion. It's the only way you can truly backup your work (notes and stickies in context of the webpage) should the webpage ever change its URL. I created another post on that topic, because looked for the wrong keywords and haven't found this one until now.
I am getting more and more nervous every day, that the online book I've put so much work in tagging (educational) might just disappear ... -

Would also love to see the "capture" feature permit saving of highlights, stickies, etc.

When you highlight text on a web page, the text it not highlighted in the cache version. This is really annoying because you can not see your highlights in context. Diiigo lists the highlighted text next to the title in the library but that is not good enough.
You can take a screenshot but the law quality of the shot makes it impossible to read the article.
