I had downloaded the colored tabs file. When I installed DIIGO they all turned grey...why?

It will significant increase the velocity of search especially in combination with "groups of tags".

This is a great idea. Each tag needs to have properties that we can edit - color, synonyms, description etc.

This would be nice, but IMHO colorcoding is just a part of the more important issue of actually being able to maintain groups of tags and provide lists based on such grouping.

I'd like to be able to color-code my tags, too.

Why paid feature? :) Color coding is not a major feature. Finding a bookmark is not hard without it, and there is a tag list/cloud to easy find the one tag I am searching for. However, adding color would give us additional way to find a bookmark.

Color coding would be nice - but likely should be a paid feature. When I used color codes in gmail it really helps me quickly find an item or group of items.

@sandy_diigo
Being able to colorize my tags will make them visually stand out more. For example I could color my “music” tag red, “movies” blue etc., and easily find a bookmark I’m looking for with just a glimpse on my library.
Currently, gray-on-gray (gray text on gray background) tags are not that easy to see, and because all tags look the same, I have to read their text label.
I don’t think that color of a tag should be a shared property. In fact, maybe others should not even see colors of my tags (to avoid confusion between my red “music” and someone else’s green “music”).

I think this would be a good idea because then we could organize our information in a more convenient way.
