Ideas

Welcome to Diigo Ideas Forum

Do you have an idea? Do you recognize a good idea when you see one? We want to hear from you!

For bug-reporting or general how-to questions, please check the right side of this page and choose “Bugs” or “How-to” forum.

I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".
(thinking…)

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can vote and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can vote on it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. I suggest you... continue to rock

Just wanted to say that I love your Quick Note app for Chrome (http://mcjon.es/kEUBRX), and iChromy (http://bit.ly/lY22Pa) has just made the iPad 100% better. Thank you!!

  2. Related/Similar Links

The idea is to show in library page for each link 'similar' button like in google search.

It will use tags to find similar links/notes from the library

  6. Don't move my Diigo toolbar icon every time the extension updates

I put my Diigo icon on my Firefox toolbar where I like it, and every time the extension updates, the icon is moved. No other extension that I have (that has toolbar icons) does this. I know it's not a huge usability problem or anything, but it is a bit irritating.

  8. Suggest more tags based on tags arleady entered

When it comes to tag an article, it happens that I want to tag it in a similar way than others previously tagged articles. Currently, the only way to do it is to remember the tags that I assigned to these previous articles or to go in Diigoo searching for one of the article, then replicate the same tags. It would be great if Diigo could dynamically and automatically suggests more tags based on the matching of the tags I am entering and my "tag historic".

  9. Be able to select all the articles of a current page and assign to them a common tag

It happens that I want to reorganize several articles at the same time. For example I want to tag all of them with a new tag. Currently, the only way to do it is to select the articles one by one and to enter the new tag for each of them. It is really painful because sometimes I have about 14 articles to re-tag. I would like to be able to select all the articles of the page and add a new tag to all of them at once.

  10. Have Diigo sync with Chrome's bookmarks

The current list view of bookmarks looks hideous. Look at how organized and simple Chrome's default bookmarks are. Copy that. It's so much better. Better yet, have it take over chrome's default bookmarking service

  13. tag description

in delcious people's tags grow together among others by allowing tags to be described. I do not see the possibility to describe tags in Diigo. Hence the suggestion.

  14. Create rating system for bookmarks

It's sometimes hard to navigate through a huge number of bookmarks in one's library: it'd be great if there was a rating system (1 thru 3 stars) that could be assigned to bookmarks

  18. When part of selection to be HighLighted is already HLed, the HL operation is cancelled.V Annoying.

(prepare for copious use of the word "highlight") Sometimes when i Highlight only part of a sentence, and want the whole of it, i have to painstakingly select only the non highlighted text. Idea is when part of selection to be HighLighted is already highlighted, instead of the operation being cancelled outright, that diigo just highlights the unhighlighted part.
