hi. whenever i hightlight something on the web, simple reloading removes the highlights. I am on recent chrome, xp pro. this has rendered my diigo account useless for months now, until I have just realised how useful highlighting could be. could you help me fix this problem?
Also, just an idea of something that I have seen only in one addon for firefox, great for learning languages. additinal type of highlighting : regardless of the page you are in , all the words that you have highlighted before would be marked on pages you visit, plus the meaning once you hover. thus, you practice new words taken from natural, ever changing contexts. See the niche?

I love Pinterest for bookmarking, the reason is because it saves a visual cue of the links so that I remember what the bookmark was about more easily. The problem with Pinterest is that it doesn't let me pin links that do not contain images.

I would love if Diigo had a view mode in which each link had a visual cue in addition to the title text. It could automatically pull an image from the site or allow me to designate an image for the site.
My biggest problem with bookmark lists is that I can't remember from the text what the link was actually about because I remember things in a visual manner.

When one renames a misspelled tag if to an existing one, all target tags are lost.

Example: Two tags exist: 1) "code-examples" and - misspelled - 2) "code-exxampels". #1 is linked to 23 bookmarks, #2 to only one. I rename #2 to #1 and - whoom! - all the previously existing tags are gone, "code-examples" is only linked to one bookmark (former #2).

Desired behaviour: If one renames a tag to an existing one, the bookmarks should be merged. In the example above there should be 24 bookmarks linked to. If the same bookmark already existed, there needs to be a check if the content differs - if not, take the older one and update the last changed date, if content differs, merge the content OR create duplicate (user setting).

I installed the Diigo toolbar on two machines, both running FF19. On the Win8 machine, it works like a champ and I really like it. But on the Win7 machine, it just seems incredibly broken.

When I click on the options button, the options screen comes up. But when I click on the OK button, it doesn't close. It does apply changes. But not always the changes I make (some items will appear/disappear on the toolbar). The only way to close the options screen is to click Cancel.

A similar thing happens on the Add a Quick Access Filter dialog. Cancel is the only way to get out. And even though I'm signed in and it shows all my links for a certain tag in the sidebar, it won't show anything in the dropdown for a quick access filter for that tag.

On restarting FF, sometimes various buttons will appear/disappear.

I've tried disabling all other addons and it didn't make any difference.
